Statement
I primarily make work about systems of belief and the way those systems interact with choices. Questions of control in our beliefs are prompted by systems like familial structures, educational institutions, culture, and life experiences, and guide my art to try to hone an idea of what we can choose. I think about the relationship between change and sentimentality, as I think about what has shaped what I believe and what I do moving forward.
